The Steal Industry (video)
Purpose
An original 40 minute drama devised and created by pupils from Manor High School in Sandwell. The film explores the causes and consequences of domestic burglary and other crimes on a housing estate in Sandwell.
Around thirty pupils worked alongside a professional team of film makers over an eight week period culminating in four days of location filming in their community. The film is designed for a Key Stage 3 audience and is intended to stimulate discussion and follow up work in PSHE and citizenship.
