The Course:
This course is for community activists and project leaders; Community workers; Managers of community projects/programmes.
So who is really in control? Who ends up doing all the running and organising? How much is the project managed and how much just happens? This course will work through the basic project cycle and provide examples of tools and techniques that can be used to involve people in the process. This is not so much about how to manage but rather how to involve the community in management and help communities take control. By the end of the course participants will have acquired a range of skills for getting communities involved in managing their own projects.
