We are proposing a redevelopment that, will create a busy, vibrant destination, which local people will wish to visit, breathing new life into Bethnal Green. 
The development known as “472 Hackney Rd”. will provide a mix of new homes, including; affordable housing, enable the restoration and conversion of the derelict Duke of Cambridge pub to high spec apartments, new street level commercial/ business space, new landscaped public realm through the use of sympathetic paving, planting and seating, forming new pedestrian routes and a Children’s play area.
Worried about extra traffic on the roads? Don’t be. Given the proximity of the site to public transport, the development will be virtually “car free” with provision only being made for a limited number of disabled car parking spaces within the site. The development will also create in the region of 250+ cycle parking spaces. Currently the site is not well overlooked and we believe that the development will make the area safer for existing residents.
