It’s all about participation

You may have heard of or even used Planning for Real®, the community planning process based on a 3D model which has now been going for about thirty years.  Now part of the Accord, Planning for Real® has supported several communities across England and even in Europe.  Using a very visual and participative process where everyone can have their say in a non-confrontational environment, it encourages residents and communities to become more actively involved and have a say on what happens in their neighbourhoods. The process involves stakeholder mapping, model making, running consultation events, prioritisation and action planning.
